Yes. Creating classes, inviting students, and assigning homework are completely free. Teachers at schools, universities, and private courses use it at no cost.
＋How do I add my students to a class?
When you create a class, you get a private invite code and join link. You share the code/link; your students sign up for free and join your class with one click. You can also make joining subject to your approval.
＋What student data can I see?
You only see the performance data of students in your own class: typing speed (words per minute / WPM), accuracy, and homework completion status. Email, IP, or data from other classes is not shared.
＋Can I assign homework and see the results?
Yes. You assign homework by choosing a practice text and setting the duration, spelling mode, and target speed (WPM). When students complete the assignment, their results (speed, accuracy, attempts, pass/fail) are collected in a results table.
＋Is it suitable for exam or certification prep?
Yes. You can assign homework with practice texts, and by using a single-attempt exam mode and target thresholds (such as a 90-word goal) you can prepare your students for timed typing exams and certifications.
＋Do students need to sign up?
Yes, students need a free account so their progress (speed, accuracy, homework) can be tracked under their account. Signing up takes a few seconds.

＋Can my students join the typing speed test and typing race?
Yes. Students in your class can take the free typing speed test (words per minute / WPM measurement), join live typing races against real people, and use the touch-typing lessons and speed-reading tools. All of these tools work on both desktop and mobile.
＋Can I assign homework with my own text?
Yes. As well as ready-made practice texts, you can assign your own texts (added under My Own Texts) as homework. The duration, spelling mode, and target speed (WPM) are applied as you set them.
